Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Engineering Supervisor. This position is ONSITE M-F 8:00-5:00 at our Omaha NE Eaton facility.
The Engineering Supervisor (COE Manager) is responsible to manage and direct the Customer Order Engineering (COE) team for Eaton’s Omaha Power Center. They will serve as the senior technical resource for the department, as well as provide some direct order engineering support. This includes, but is not limited to: engineering designs, providing direction to application engineers and designers, support of troubleshooting in manufacturing and collaborating with Eaton’s sales force, project management teams and our customers.
The supervisor will also work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and operations to find solutions to specific technical problems.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

What You’ll Do- Manage and coordinate the COE engineers and assigned technicians to drive schedule attainment, productivity goals and manufacturing requirements.
- Provide training, instruction, and guidance to employees; remain knowledgeable of required personnel-related policies and procedures of the company.
- Utilize Talent Hub process to communicate and manage required development plans and performance to goals.
- Manage large projects to completion within deadlines with little or no supervision.
- Provides application and technical assistance to plant support functions, field sales, and customers as needed.
- Drive improvements in engineering performance through continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Consult on the installation of products at customer sites as appropriate and coordinate product warranties and continuing service functions for customers in partnership with the MOL and Project Manager.
- Assists the sales team in obtaining orders and supporting the solution development for unique/non-standard applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Three (3)+ years of experience with Electrical Distribution & Control products in Engineering OR Operations capacities.
- One (1)+ year of experience with medium voltage switch gear and assemblies in an Engineer to Order environment.
- No relocation is being offered for this role. Only candidates living within the 50-mile radius of Omaha NE will be considered for this role. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
- 5-7 years of experience in engineering or operations within the Electrical Distribution & Controls industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power
BI) - Proficient with Engineering modeling programs (AutoCAD, Inventor, ERP Systems)
- Knowledge of electrical distribution products and features.
- Extensive knowledge and technical expertise in mechanical design and engineering methods.
- Extensive knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, IEC, and NEMA Standards.
- Manage and provide coaching to a team of Engineers and technicians.
