Job Summary of the Mechanical Engineer:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Development team. The role involves providing detailed mechanical engineering support to the Product Platforms and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be results-focused, self-directed, and adaptable to evolving business needs and customer requirements. This hands‑on position will involve collaboration with product development engineers, product management, sales, and manufacturing to complete new product development projects.

• Conceptualize, design, and test mechanical and electrical products for customized customer applications.
• Implement Engineering Change Orders to modify product designs and develop tailored solutions.
• Lead the development of custom-engineered solutions through designing, modeling, prototyping, and testing.
• Support new product launches and facilitate product line transitions within the Product Development team.
• Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product compliance before manufacturing.
• Perform stress, durability, and fatigue life analysis of mechanical components and systems.
• Select materials and recommend manufacturing processes for optimal product performance.
• Participate in building, assembling, and testing of designs.
• Validate and verify product designs to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project and product risks throughout development processes.
• Support investigations, analyses, and implementation of corrective actions for project improvements.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and assist with commissioning activities as needed.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-7 years of experience.
• Knowledge of product development processes and risk mitigation, including design and analysis.
• Experience in design analysis, FEA, APQP functional modeling, and 3D modeling software.
• Ability to interpret design requirements, with a focus on mechanical aspects, and knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
