Process Engineer
Conductix-Wampfler is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Operations teams in all U.S. CoE Facilities and the design engineering staff to develop, maintain, and implement manufacturing methods and processes. The Process Engineer will work on various project types including process safety evaluation, new process/production line design, process efficiency evaluation, process qualification, process improvements, and new equipment acquisition, utilizing the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology.
EssentialDuties Include:
- Create and maintain APQP documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Standard Works, and other supporting documentation.
- Perform process qualifications to ensure that a process is stable and can create conforming products.
- Maintain and create data outlining setup time and inputs for the planning team.
- Design manufacturing processes that meet OSHA standards for safety and assure no harm will come to personnel working with said manufacturing processes.
- Use customer demand input to match precisely the production process with demand.
- Perform general process improvements based on feedback from production associates.
- Determine the cost of a project for capital investment planning and to generate justification when needed.
- Lead new equipment purchasing, installation, and training to ensure a safe and capable process has been established.
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas to management and manufacturing staff to achieve buy‑in.
- Utilize lean tools to support manufacturing lean events and initiatives.
- Seeks out new opportunities daily.

- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field of study from a four‑year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to manage many concurrent projects while maintaining high productivity and completing projects on time.
