Commissioning Engineer (Data Centers) - Omaha NE / Remote
Salary: $90,000 - $160,000 per year. Full‑time, remote (with up to 75% travel).

This role is responsible for managing data center commissioning projects, ensuring technical excellence, budget, and schedule adherence. The Data Center Project Commissioning Engineer performs construction observations, reviews contract documents, develops functional test plans, and executes tests for mechanical and control systems. They also conduct retro‑commissioning engineering/energy studies and contribute to design and energy projects for national industrial, institutional, and commercial clients.

- Conduct retro‑commissioning engineering/energy studies and contribute to design and energy projects.
- Manage data center projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.
- Assess, optimize, and commission utility plants as needed.
- 2+ years of specific Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
- Must be able/willing to travel up to 75% for project work, training, and inter‑office business (expenses paid).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering field preferred.
- Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
- Experience managing design/energy services commissioning project resources to pre‑determined scope, fee, and schedule.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction industry standards such as ASHRAE, LEED.
- Effective leadership and written/verbal communication skills are essential.
- EIT, PE, CBCP, CEM, CCP, CxA are a plus
