VP, Central Estimating

Estimators are responsible for all aspects of bidding a project including labor, time and materials requirements to determine overall cost of projects. This role is responsible for increasing profitability through comprehensive cost estimating.

• Interprets and analyzes contract documents regarding terms, specifications, clarifications, and requirements for each project and prepares estimates and bid proposals.
• Estimates majority of the work applicable to the respective region or business line, including target projects and owners list, and manages bid flow.
• Reads and interprets sophisticated specs and drawings.
• Uses formulas and makes calculations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 5+ years of industrial services experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience reading isometric drawings.
• 3+ years of experience estimating industrial services lines of business.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional team initiatives.
• Knowledge in safety procedure implementation is a plus.
• Ability to multi‑task, managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
• Critical in managing the business and identifying problems or opportunities.
• Demonstrates ability to be flexible and quickly adaptable to changing conditions across all spectrums.
• Creative and innovative approaches and solutions on a project‑by‑project basis.
• Effective participation in team environment, with both external and internal teammates.

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Light work that includes moving objects up to twenty pounds.

No adverse environmental conditions expected.
