Summary:

We are searching for a quotations specialist to join our team!  Our specialists work under the direction of the Manger to help our sales team quote new commercial, industrial, and large multi-family residential electrical construction projects. This position is customer-facing and requires great customer service skills and attention to detail.  As a quotations specialist you will communicate with vendors, customers, co-workers, etc.

Reports to:

Sales Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+  2 year technical degree or equivalent field experience

+  Strong mathematics, grammar and geometry skills

+  Working knowledge of lamps, ballast and fixtures is a must

+  Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

+ Ability to write and speak English

Essential Job Functions:

+ Interpret project specifications, plans and requirements to prepare quotations conveying price, delivery, and technical info to customers,

+ Value engineer projects to position us as the preferred provider

+ Order material based on project and customer requirements,

+ Manage projects to ensure orders remain on time and per requirements,

+ Contact engineers and architects to discuss bid project requirements,

+ Act as liaison between the customer and suppliers for price, delivery, service and technical product information as needed,

+ Interpret customer needs to design lighting lay-out and product specification for design & build projects,

+ Prepare operation and maintenance manuals after project completion,

+  Work closely with sales teams to strategize on project quotes
