Position Overview

As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including:

  • Hyperscale Data Centers
  • Mission Critical Facilities
  • Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities
  • Distribution Centers
  • Large Commercial Projects

You’ll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
  • Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems
Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
  • Experience in:
    • Mission Critical / Data Centers
    • Industrial Construction
    • Large Commercial Construction
    • Design‑Build Projects
    • Fast‑Track Construction Environments

Technical Skills

  • Accubid Anywhere or similar estimating software
  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Blueprint and specification interpretation
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems

Professional Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Self‑motivated with a solutions‑oriented mindset
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post‑secondary education or industry certifications preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
