As a Project Manager, you'll gain hands on exposure to every phase of project delivery while working alongside experienced project, engineering, and field teams on iconic facade and curtain wall projects.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Gain exposure to the construction industry, Enclos systems, and project operations while supporting project teams throughout the lifecycle of complex façade and curtain wall projects. This role assists with coordination between project management, engineering, vendors, and field teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support project managers and field teams with day-to-day project coordination activities

* Assist with tracking project schedules, documentation, submittals, RFIs, and closeout materials

* Coordinate with vendors, fabrication teams, and field personnel to support material deliveries and project execution

* Observe and monitor field installation progress, productivity, and quality control activities

* Participate in project mock-ups, site visits, safety walks, and QA/QC processes

* Maintain project logs, records, and documentation to support accurate reporting and communication

* Develop an understanding of curtain wall systems, construction materials, fabrication, assembly, and installation processes

* Assist with take-offs, procurement activities, and vendor communication as needed

* Support field coordination efforts to ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are available on-site

* Learn project financial and cost control processes including billings, rollouts, and change management

* Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders

* Demonstrate strong organization, time management, and attention to detail while managing assigned tasks

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University and 3-5 years of related curtain wall construction experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Construction Management preferred.

* Expertise must include all phases of the curtain wall business, including, but not limited to, blue print reading, metal, glass, design, engineering, fabrication, curtain wall systems, and field and installation procedures.

* Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word and Excel.) Project Management Software (for job costing, billing and labor management) is helpful. Knowledge of Primavera or other scheduling software preferred, as well as experience with E-Mail, and Internet.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

* Extensive travel via airplane and automobile is required.

Compensation

At the Enclos family of companies, compensation is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. The successful candidate for the Assistant Project Manager role in Omaha, NE can expect to earn $85,000 to $105,000 per year.

This position is also eligible to participate in the company's incentive bonus plan.
