Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Telecommunications Permit Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the permitting process for telecommunications projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the permitting process for telecommunications projects.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant authorities.
- Track the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals.
- Ability to use judgement on when to increase pressure on AHJ's.
- Maintain accurate records of all permit applications, approvals, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide regular updates to project teams on the status of permits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of permitting strategies to streamline processes.
- Work collaboratively with others.
- Have ownership in the work you do.

- Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in permit coordination in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permit tracking software (Smart Sheet experience is a plus).
