- Overseeing ground up construction for hyperscale data center projects 150MW+ size campuses
- Conducting weekly meetings with commissioning, engineering, technical professionals on site
- Execution & Testing:
Supervise the start-up of equipment, installation verification, and pre-functional testing (L2-L5). - Documentation & Handover:
Manage system dossiers, sign off on turnover packages, and coordinate the formal transfer of custody or certificate of completion. - Commissioning Planning:
Develop site-specific commissioning schedules, plans, and testing procedures in alignment with contract obligations. - Safety Management:
Ensure all commissioning and start-up activities comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Technical Expertise:
Advanced understanding of MEP systems, building automation, and power generation equipment - Project Management:
Strong ability to track costs, manage manpower, and enforce deadlines. - Communication:
Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities. - Software Proficiency:
Experience utilizing cloud-based commissioning platforms and automated commissioning management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management. (Highly preferred)
- Minimum of 7+ years of direct experience in commissioning
- Minimum 3+ years of managing large scale projects in mission critical environments or large scale utility projects
- Military or Nuclear backgrounds are a bonus
