Airport Engineer
The Airport Engineer serves as a project engineer on multiple airport projects, leading planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure. This role focuses on projects in Nebraska and Iowa and offers strong growth within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and technical deliverables for ~15–20 airport projects annually
- Develop construction documents, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD/Micro Station
- Analyze technical data to support planning and design decisions
- Coordinate with clients, agencies (FAA/DOT), and internal teams
- Observe construction to ensure compliance with plans and specs
- Apply engineering judgment to solve design and planning challenges
- Utilize GIS (ArcGIS) for planning and documentation
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; PE license required
- 1–5 years of airport or civil engineering experience (consulting preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Micro Station; familiarity with ArcGIS a plus
- Experience with FAA/DOT standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
