Project Controls Specialist

In HDR’s Architecture practice, you will contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world, working with architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity and collaboration.

• Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
• Coordinate with necessary team members
• Develop and monitor project metrics
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Conduct project site visits if applicable
• Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
• Develop cost estimates
• Perform other duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports
• Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
• Ability to interpret construction schedules

• Bachelor's degree
• The capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of:
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasks
• Organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
