AECOM is seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer VI in the growing Transportation Engineering Group in Omaha, NE.
Responsibilities- Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid-to-large-size projects.
- Strong emphasis on railway and highway bridge design and deliveries.
- Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
- Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
- Leads technical business development work.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff s specific area of expertise.
- Approves and signs off on work.
- Leads in one or more areas of technology.
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large, complex projects.

Qualifications- Bachelor s degree + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
- A current PE license
- Ability to pass MVR check
- 10+ years experience in bridge design
- Extensive project design experience with railway systems and roadway bridges and related structures
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing
- Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software)
- Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable codes
- Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools
