Mechanical Designer

Job Title

The project will be doing plant layout and equipment layout. Perform in-house mechanical design (including life safety, HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, gas and fire sprinkler systems) for capital expansion projects and renovations of existing facilities Everything is in Plant3d and AutoCAD lots of their projects can be pet food plants, chemicals, etc, and some food&bev. Process piping design, equipment selection, material lists, contract documents, and drawing reviews for industrial projects Provide preliminary design documents, such as conceptual designs, technical specifications, and site plans for industrial projects

Ability to execute plant layout design in Plant 3D Have experience with Autocad 2d and Plant 3d with also is preferred. Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments and coordinate a variety of tasks and deadlines with good attention to detail. Ability to develop detailed design documents (specific to the area of expertise) to be used in construction packages. Expereince in design MEP and plant layout desgn.

Experience in Food & Beverage, Agricultural, Mineral Processing, and Power Industries.
• Strong working relationships with customers, contractors, fabricators, vendors, etc.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
