Location: Omaha, Nebraska. Primarily on-site with a flexible culture that supports occasional flexibility while emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and client relationships.
Note: Applicants must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, at least 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience, and at least 1+ year of experience leading engineering projects and staff.

Job Description- Lead traffic engineering and transportation projects from planning through successful completion.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal, agency, and private-sector clients.
- Provide technical leadership for traffic engineering, transportation planning, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects.
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineering staff while supporting team growth.
- Review designs, reports, and project deliverables to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support business development through client relationship management, proposal preparation, and project pursuits.
Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on track. - Help strengthen and expand the firm's traffic engineering practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 6+ years of traffic or transportation engineering experience.
- 1+ year of project leadership and engineering staff management experience.
- Strong project management, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Business development experience is a plus.
