Senior Project Engineer - Omaha, NE

Our client is an established engineering consulting firm specializing in water, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse projects. They work with municipalities, utilities, and public-sector clients to deliver critical infrastructure projects across the region.

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Perform civil site design, including grading, drainage, stormwater systems, roadways, paving, and utility infrastructure.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and data collection activities.
• Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and subconsultants.
• Support permitting efforts and work with regulatory agencies as required.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including review of submittals and RFIs.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5-12 years of experience in water, wastewater, or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and utility infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with project scheduling or project management software.
• Involvement in professional engineering organizations.
• Experience working on municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
