Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming to provide critical engineering services to strengthen national security, support economic growth, and mitigate disaster risks focusing on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction across the Missouri River Basin. The USACE NWO mission is to deliver vital engineering solutions, in collaboration with partners, to secure the nation, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risks by focusing on a diverse array of missions, including flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental restoration, and regulatory oversight.
Seeking Process Engineer candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as USACE. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time Pro Sidian employed W-2 Position.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) (Process Engineer) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DoD - USACE) | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, Omaha District (USACE NWO) Area of Responsibility (AOR) Generally Located In CONUS

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Process Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE
016021]
Design and optimize processes for environmental remediation; ensure process efficiency and compliance. The Engineer (s) is responsible for assuring that all engineering support goals specified in the Task Order are attained.
QualificationsDesired Qualifications For Process Engineer | Environmental Management [USACE
016021] Candidates:
Proficiency in process engineering; experience in environmental applications. The Engineer(s) should also have three (3) years' experience related to the investigation, design, and construction of geotechnical features, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience being related to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and design and construction of geotechnical features in Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Site sand/or process engineering at Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) Services Facilities or sites.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
5+ years in process engineering; familiarity with environmental regulations. | Bachelor's in Chemical or Process Engineering. The Engineer shall have a college degree in engineering (soil mechanics, materials, or related specialty), geological engineering, or related field. The Engineer(s) should have demonstrable education and experience in geotechnical engineering.
Skills Required
Process optimization, project management, technical analysis, problem-solving. | Professional Licensure:
None; pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) license is beneficial.
Competencies Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program). Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Permits/Licenses:
Team Pro Sidian shall obtain permits and licenses necessary to conduct the work required by this contract, including, but not limited to, environmental permits, building permits, discharge permits, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or state licenses for radiation activities, and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). for transport of Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) and Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) on public highways.
Team Pro Sidian shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including Technical Bulletin TB 700-2, "Department Of Defense Ammunition And Explosives Hazard Classification Procedures," when transporting MEC. Rights of entry on and off Government property may be required.
