This Opportunity:
- Assist engineers with planning and design tasks, as well as field-based project oversight
- Calculate dimensions and prepare detailed dimensional design layouts for projects
- Interpret engineering designs and draft project information using software programs
- Prepare drawings, schematics, and exhibits for project reports and plans
- Calculate quantities and cost estimates for construction projects
- Monitor construction activities on transportation, civil, and municipal infrastructure projects to support compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Document daily field and inspection activities, including material sampling, testing, and quantity measurements
- Assist with preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, and project updates
- Maintain accurate, timely project documentation and reporting
- Mix of in office design work along with outside construction inspection as needed

Essential Qualifications
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with project teams, clients, and contractors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate project documentation
- Willingness to travel as needed for project meetings, client visits, and field observations
- Experience using AutoCAD and Bluebeam through coursework, internships, or previous employment
- Interest in land development, municipal, and civil infrastructure projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in civil design, construction inspection, or construction-related field work
- Experience supporting land development, municipal, transportation, civil infrastructure, or public works projects
- Familiarity with construction documentation, quantity calculations, field observations, and project reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced experience with AutoCAD

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $25 and $30 per hour based on skill set…
