Industrial Design Engineer
Insight Global is hiring an Industrial Design Engineer to join a small engineering firm in Omaha, Nebraska. This person will join the team to support the full lifecycle of their projects from design to construction including supporting the PM on providing a bid, reviewing and approving designs, some code interpretation and guidance for the designers, follow up, documentation, and expertise throughout execution on construction phases.
This client supports a variety of projects within the industrial, energy, mining, and agriculture domains across NE, IA, KS, MO, TX, KY, and more. Example projects may include the design of a grain handling facility or a co-generation powerplant. Some customer interaction will be required, and occasion travel may be expected. Future growth includes involvement on exploring new industries including commercial projects.
The right candidate will be collaborative, willing to work onsite, and have a desire to grow experience in new industries.
This position pays between $100-140K depending on experience.
