Civil Engineer (Geotechnical)
As a Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) in the Omaha District, Geotechnical Engineering and Sciences Branch, you will:
Serve as a senior geotechnical engineering specialist performing a wide variety of geotechnical and material designs and or studies in support of the Civil, Military and Hazardous Toxic and Radiological Waste (HTRW) programs within the district.
Perform and direct design studies and contract documents for a variety of Military, Civil Works, and HTRW projects, to include airfield and heavy pavements.
Serve as a lead or project engineer, coordinating, directing, and managing multi-disciplined in-house teams and/or consultants during the planning, design, report, contract documents, and construction phases of a project.
Prepare A-E scopes of work, investigation plans, geotechnical analysis, reports, design, contract plans, and specifications for all aspects of geoenvironmental work.
Provide support to Emergency Managements Public Law 84-99 Flood Fight Advance Measures and Rehabilitation Program.
