Responsibilities The poker dealer operates and conducts live games in the poker room including but not limited to, Hold ‘Em, Omaha, and No Limit Poker.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow game procedures for all Poker games
  • Use all game equipment according to procedure
  • Provide game security and protect company assets by facing games at all times and be able to recreate bets/situations when necessary
  • Handle all monies accurately, i.e. bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change, and cheque handling
  • Position bets correctly
  • Repeat bets in a clear, audible voice
  • Verbalizes all aspects of game in a clear audible voice
  • Shuffle cards in accordance to Hollywood Casino-Aurora standards
  • Utilize proper card handling skills, i.e. shuffling, dealing from the hand, card placement
  • Responsible to know all rules of the different Poker games offered when dealing Poker
  • Perpetuate Hollywood Casino’s commitment towards quality guest service
Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, and commissions and apply to practical situations
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
