Summary Description
The Casino Cashier is responsible for safeguarding company assets, balancing various bank drawers within the Cage area of the Finance Department, providing players club services and maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process. Pay starts at $17.00/hour.
Currently hiring for Grave or Swing shift.
- Safeguard assets.
- Accurately balance assigned bank.
- Cash chips and gaming tokens into money for guests, in a courteous, timely manner.
- Cash personal checks and traveler’s checks for currency.
- Redeem foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates for the various currency received.
- Follow proper procedures pertaining to sale and payout of tickets.
- Cash‑in/Cash‑out gaming chips.
- Redeem Slot Machine payout tickets / TITO / vouchers for cash / cash equivalent.
- Perform guest account transactions, including issuing new and replacement player club cards, resolving guest player’s club issues, and providing player club rewards information.
- Cheques cashing, cheque redemptions and consolidations.
- Perform credit card and EFTPOS cash advances.
- Perform Rolling Chip Exchanges.
- At completion of the shift, balance float and bring it back to the impress amount.
- Prepare Table Fills / receive Table Credits.
- Handle chip transfers between front windows, chip banks and main banks.
- Balance the inventory of Chip Bank to the casino computer system, account for all chip movements in and out of the Chip Bank.
- Maintain accurate and legible balance sheets.
- Perform all vault functions – manage and maintain custody of coin, currency, checks and records of cage transactions on shift.
- Assist Cage Supervisor in maintaining accurate records on shift.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal activities.
- Assist other Cashiers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Previous gaming or banking experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Work HoursDue to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
