Market & Credit Risk Specialist

Axos is seeking a Market & Credit Risk Specialist who will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, monitoring and mitigating market and credit risk of client and IBD accounts held at the clearing firm. In this role you will interface with all correspondents to monitor and mitigate risks associated with each correspondents type of business. Additionally you will assist in the development of financial risk management tools and practices to analyze and report on financial market risks and to manage risks according to a financial risk management framework and relevant policies.

Follow the Company's financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and strategic imperatives of the organization.

• Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting, economics or finance, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in the in the financial services or brokerage industry
• 2-5 years of experience in risk management within the financial services or brokerage industry
• Knowledge of the brokerage and clearing business with experience in financial market risk management and other regulatory issues
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work independently, sound decision-making abilities and strong oral and written communication and human relations skills
• An understanding of risk management systems, spreadsheet and relational database software
• FINRA licenses 7, 63, and 24 highly preferred
