Senior Financial Accountant – Path to Assistant Controller

This is an attractive opportunity to thoughtfully take the next step in your career as you will partner directly with the current Controller and CFO while taking ownership for the financial close & monthly reporting process for this unique organization’s 5 business units. This is a strategic hire tied directly to an upcoming retirement in the next 2-3 years. You’ll have the chance to first learn the business at the ground level and become a true subject matter expert before taking the next step into a leadership role within just a few short years.

Because this is a strategic hire, the CFO and current Controller have created a dynamic plate of work that will give this individual an excellent breadth of exposure to position them for future career growth:

• Leverage your financial accounting experience while partnering with the controller to take ownership for the monthly close process for this organization’s 5 operating companies
• Take ownership for financial reporting - showcasing financial performance for each entity & the performance of the organization at a consolidated level
• Partner with the controller on the forecasting and budgeting process. This will include strategy, post-close analyzation, and thoughtful business planning
• Work directly with the leadership team and ownership group on special projects that help move this business forward
