Job Summary

AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry), Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit are financial cooperatives that operate under shared management across eight states. They collaborate to provide affordable credit, crop insurance, and financial services to farmers, ranchers, investors and farm‑related businesses. We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team and underwrite loans in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.

• Underwrite loans within the assigned portfolio, conducting analysis of loan and lease requests.
• Evaluate character, financial position, repayment ability, collateral and conditions of approval.
• Analyze customer financial statements, including balance sheets, trend analysis, income statements, cash flows, collateral analysis, performance reconciliations, credit bureau reports and commodity brokerage statements.
• Apply differential analysis techniques, using market‑based and GAAP quality financials, appropriate to the risk of the loan.
• Participate in consensus decision‑making on credit requests within delegated authorities or recommend actions requiring higher authority.
• Maintain sound credit administration, adhering to the associations’ credit philosophy, procedures and guidelines.
• Document decisions, set loan terms and conditions to manage risk.
• Coordinate and prioritize work to support teammates, sometimes directing the work of others.
• Work independently on loans of moderate to large size and complexity.

• 10% travel during the day
• 10% travel overnight

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• 2‑10 years of experience as a lending or credit analyst.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Understanding of credit management techniques, credit administration, and loan servicing.
• Strong knowledge of multiple agricultural industries.
