The Director, Strategic Finance is a senior finance role responsible for elevating financial analysis and strategic partnership across the Partner Division. This role bridges deep analytical expertise with executive-level business partnership, serving as a key advisor to division leadership on portfolio performance, growth initiatives, and complex financial matters.
Responsibilities- Partner with Partner Division leadership on financial strategy, connecting financial insights to growth strategy, competitive positioning and long-term value creation
- Provide strategic financial guidance on new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Lead cross-functional analytical initiatives to identify revenue growth and efficiency opportunities
- Present decision-ready financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, anticipating questions and focusing on what matters
- Build strong collaborative, trust-based relationships across the division to drive business outcomes and allow for credible challenge of assumptions with business leaders
- Conduct financial evaluation of multiple business lines and complex partnership structures
- Evaluate technology investments and business opportunities for strategic alignment and financial impact
- Leverage internal and external data to frame decisions and quantify trade-offs
- Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences
- Foster analytical rigor and continuous improvement across the team
- Create repeatable frameworks and methodologies for analysis
- Monitor business threats and support development of scenario plans to address portfolio risks
Skills and Abilities

- Strong mentorship and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 7-10 years of progressive FP&A experience in financial services or complex multi-unit environment
- Experience in leadership roles with proven success in senior business partnership roles
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Experience with installment lending or consumer credit products preferred
