Summary of the Job

Tributary Capital Management is seeking an Analyst II to join our Small Cap and Small/Mid Cap investment team. This individual will be responsible for identifying and proposing new ideas for inclusion in our Small and Small/Mid Cap investment strategies, as well as providing coverage of existing holdings within assigned market sectors. Candidates for this position must have at least five years of experience (8+ years preferred) independently identifying and recommending equity investments for value‑oriented portfolios, and must be able to demonstrate an advanced level of insight in their company research, investment valuation, and portfolio recommendations.

This Role

Tributary Capital Management is a SEC Registered Investment Adviser headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. We provide asset management services to institutions, individuals, and investment companies and manage over $4 billion in multiple equity strategies. We believe in active portfolio management, with an emphasis on vigorous, bottom‑up fundamental research and security valuation.

Key Accountabilities for this Position
  • Investment Research & Analysis: Develop new investment ideas for Tributary’s Small and Small/Mid Cap investment strategies, provide an advanced level of insight and value‑add to portfolio managers through company research, investment valuation, and portfolio recommendations, and offer purchase and sale recommendations regarding assigned stocks/sectors.
  • Investment Coverage: Cover stocks and economic market sectors, as assigned; communicate with portfolio managers and other members of the investment team to explain and articulate news, earnings, and other events pertaining to covered stocks/sectors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • CFA Designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of equity research & analysis experience, 8+ years preferred.
  • Ability to make investment recommendations within a value‑oriented investment process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Unrestricted work authorization; no future sponsorship required.
  • On-site position in Omaha, Nebraska; remote option not available.
Compensation

Compensation range (base pay): $89,828 – $148,215.

Work Environment

The incumbent will work onsite at the posted location. The environment fosters innovation, mentorship, and collaboration. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
