Provide advanced administrative and relationship support to the Commercial Banking team through the loan closing and relationship management process, which includes completing loan preparation, review, documentation and funding, and providing deposit support to the team on more complex transactions.

• Loan Closings:
  Coordinate all aspects of required loan documentation including ordering due diligence documentation, reviewing loan documents for accuracy in partnership with the deal team, closing the loan with the client, and working with Commercial Loan Services and outside counsel to ensure proper documentation. Perform ongoing maintenance on a portfolio of clients, while adhering to legal documentation and compliance guidelines for complex loan transactions with little direction from manager.
• Portfolio / Collateral Administration:
  Provide support through the life of a loan by leveraging online bank systems to process daily transactions based on customer requests and review customer financial information. Analyze collateral and financial reports received on a daily/weekly/monthly basis with supporting documentation from the borrower. Work with clients to validate discrepancies, collect past‑due financial and legal documentation, and ensure accurate reporting is presented to the bank for collateral and financial monitoring.
  
  Monitor and update internal systems, reporting and tracking data that is crucial to managing the portfolio with minimal input from Commercial Relationship Specialist Leads.
• Customer Support:
  Independently handle client and prospect correspondence. Service clients and affiliates by solving problems and complex questions to ensure superior customer service and support, potentially involving fraud, overdrafts, and wire issues. Serve as a liaison between operations/support departments, Commercial Banking teams, and customers.
• Learning and Development:
  Work with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to ensure portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship complies with Associated Banc‑Corp credit policy, procedures, and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines. Attend or assist with training sessions for new and existing team members and support projects that improve efficiencies and technical capabilities.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience – Business, Finance, or Accounting.

• 4‑7 years Commercial Banking support, working with complex commercial loan closings, including loan documentation review.
• 4‑7 years experience with internal systems:
  Ambit Commercial Lending System, Core Bank, Sales Pro, and Stucky (or similar).
• 6‑8 years attorney‑prepared loan documentation review, administration, monitoring, and closing experience related to Commercial Banking (preferred).
