Job Overview
Provide advanced administrative and relationship support to the Commercial Banking team through the loan closing and relationship management process, including loan preparation, review, documentation, funding, and deposit support on complex transactions.
Responsibilities- Coordinate all aspects of required loan documentation: ordering due diligence, reviewing loan documents for accuracy, closing the loan with the client, and working with Commercial Loan Services and outside counsel to ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with legal documentation and regulatory guidelines for complex loan transactions.
- Support portfolio/collateral administration by processing daily transactions, reviewing customer financial information, analyzing collateral and financial reports, and ensuring accurate reporting in bank systems.
- Provide customer support, solving complex questions, handling fraud, overdrafts, and wire issues, acting as liaison between operations/support departments, Commercial Banking teams, and customers.
- Assist with training and project management as needed, backing up the Commercial Relationship Specialist Lead and providing supervision.
- Work with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to ensure compliance with credit policy, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support projects that improve efficiencies and technical improvements for the Commercial Banking team.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in Commercial Banking support, including complex commercial loan closings and attorney‑prepared loan documentation review.
- 4-7 years experience with internal systems such as Ambit, Core Bank, Sales Pro, Stucky (or similar).
- 6-8 years experience in attorney‑prepared loan documentation review, administration, monitoring, and closing related to Commercial Banking.
- Knowledge of commercial banking products, services, procedures, and practices.
- Proficiency in internal systems:
Ambit Commercial Lending System, Core Bank, Sales Pro, Stucky.
- Pay range: $19.62 - $33.64 per hour.
