Tax Manager

The primary function of the Tax Manager is to work with the Senior Director of Tax to complete the company’s federal income tax return, the company’s state income and franchise tax returns, quarterly estimated income tax calculations, and the company’s ASC
740 and FIN
48 calculations. This position will also work on various other tax projects throughout the year.

• Prepare or oversee the preparation of a variety of federal and state tax returns and supporting calculations.
• Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly ASC 740 and FIN 48 calculations.
• Review and analyze state income and franchise tax returns, quarterly estimated tax payment calculations, and other compliance calculations.
• Conduct thorough tax research and prepare analysis of findings.
• Assist with tax audits and tax planning projects.
• Oversee Unclaimed Property reporting.
• Manage filing of the Company’s Annual US State and Canadian Provincial Reports.
• Handle other projects as they arise.

• 5 or more years in public accounting or private industry with increasing responsibilities in Tax.
• Experience in tax planning, research, return preparation, and ASC 740.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA credential a plus.
• Experience with One Source a plus.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated self‑starter.
