Job Overview

Merrill Wealth Management, part of Bank of America, offers comprehensive wealth‑management and investment services. The Advisor Development Program is a career‑transition opportunity for aspiring Financial Advisors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a book of business to meet and exceed performance hurdles.
  • Prioritize sourcing prospective clients, capitalize on referrals, assess needs, refer to specialists, and deliver customized solutions.
  • Recommend investment products and services suitable for prospects based on objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences.
  • Balance investment growth, referral activities, client follow‑up, prospect building, compliance, and personal growth.
  • Organize and manage resources (time, people, budget) to run a productive practice.
  • Seek specialist expertise for planning and investment strategies.
  • Complete mandated training, assessments, performance goals, and continuing education.
  • Handle inbound inquiries from leads, conduct KYC procedures, open accounts, serve as interim Financial Advisor, document interactions in Salesforce.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Series7 & 66 licenses (or Series
    63 &65 in lieu of 66).
  • Minimum one year experience in the financial services industry and/or sales environment with achieved goals.
  • Minimum one year experience in the investments industry, including training and knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence others, build relationships, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Team collaboration and partnership skills.
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills to source clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a performance‑based compensation environment.
  • Strong follow‑through and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or one year of financial services or sales experience.
  • Adaptability to new technology or applications.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 annualized salary with incentive plan participation.
