The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, supporting manufacturing operations, improving processes, and helping leaders make sound business decisions. This position offers meaningful exposure to operations and leadership and is well suited for someone interested in continued professional growth and career development.

What You’ll Do
  • Own key components of the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity through journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Partner closely with Accounts Payable and Operations teams to strengthen workflows, improve controls, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities while providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Serve as a financial partner to manufacturing operations, supporting inventory analysis, operational costs, claims management, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment decisions through financial modeling, reporting, and business analysis.
  • Own spend compliance processes, including credit card oversight, policy compliance, reconciliations, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support audits, compliance, and reporting requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
What Sets You Apart
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and GAAP principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with the ability to maintain high‑quality, audit‑ready work.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and appropriate issue escalation when risks, discrepancies, or concerns arise.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
  • Polished verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly across departments and leadership levels.
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and business leaders in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong systems aptitude, including experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel analysis. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar systems preferred.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with curiosity and initiative to improve workflows, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated ownership, professionalism, and leadership aptitude, with interest in continued development.
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required, including relevant internships.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience preferred, including exposure to inventory, cost drivers, or operational finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools required.
