** Senior Finance Business Analyst
** to serve as a critical liaison between Finance and Technology teams, helping drive key financial reporting, close, reconciliation, and control-focused  this highly visible role, you'll work directly with Finance leaders, accounting professionals, and technology teams to translate complex financial reporting requirements into scalable, reliable, and auditable technology solutions.#### What You'll Do
* Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements related to:+ Financial close and reconciliation processes+ Statutory and GAAP financial reporting+ Intercompany, reinsurance, and allocation workflows+ Finance controls, audit support, and data lineage
* Translate accounting and finance requirements into:+ User stories with clear acceptance criteria+ Functional specifications for reports, interfaces, and data solutions+ Test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios supporting control validation and business outcomes
* Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to:+ Evaluate upstream and downstream system impacts+ Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and control risks+ Support production investigations related to financial results and reporting
* Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and data professionals to ensure solutions meet standards for:+ Financial accuracy+ Data completeness+ Regulatory compliance+ Auditability and controls## What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of related professional experience
* Experience with data analysis and business systems
* Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office, and data manipulation tools
* Knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Finance or Accounting organizations
* Direct experience working within an insurance carrier environment (P&C, Life, Health, or Specialty insurance)
* Experience supporting:+ Statutory (STAT) and/or GAAP reporting+ Financial close and reconciliation processes+ Intercompany accounting+ Reinsurance accounting operations
* Proven ability to translate accounting and financial reporting requirements into technical solutions and IT deliverables
* Experience partnering with Controllers, Financial Reporting teams, Accounting Policy groups, Auditors, and other Finance leaders#### What Makes You Successful You are someone who:
