In an increasingly complex world where people are starving for someone they can trust, we stand for something simple: always put the client first. We do well by doing good for those we serve. It’s the ultimate measure. We believe in providing value beyond a doubt and in the notion that time will either expose you or promote you, based on your willingness to embrace change.

We serve financial advisors and investors through three entities, each headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska:
Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching and Carson Partners. We provide coaching and partnership services to advisor firms – and straightforward financial advice to the investing public. We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.

Who We Want

Support in-house tax preparation and advanced planning services by assisting with compliance, documentation, and workflow execution within a professional wealth‑management tax function. Gain hands‑on exposure to individual income tax preparation, advanced tax planning cases, and high‑net‑worth client structures while working under the supervision of licensed tax professionals. Contribute to accurate, timely, and compliant tax deliverables while developing practical skills in tax operations, process automation, and professional collaboration.

What

To Expect

Tax Preparation & Compliance Support: Assist with the preparation of individual federal and state income tax returns under the supervision of licensed professionals. Perform preliminary data entry using tax preparation software. Support quality control checks, form review, formatting, and compliance verification. Research basic tax questions and summarize findings for internal use.

Document & Data Management: Organize, digitize, and maintain client tax documents and work papers in accordance with data security and compliance protocols. Maintain accurate notes, task documentation, and internal CRM or workflow records. Support file requests, document follow‑up, and record accuracy throughout the tax preparation lifecycle.

Workflow & Case Coordination: Support intake, tracking, and workflow management for tax preparation cases. Assist with scheduling coordination, internal handoffs, and deadline management. Help ensure tax cases progress efficiently through established processes.

Advisor & Client Support: Support tax planning deliverables for wealth advisors and private client work streams. Assist with client communication coordination as directed. Observe client tax interviews, planning meetings, and cross‑functional collaboration when appropriate.

Collaboration & Learning: Participate in internal tax and planning meetings as needed. Engage in ongoing learning related to tax workflows, tools, and professional standards. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to process efficiency and documentation quality.

Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.
