We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager – Loan Workouts & Collections who enjoys working directly with borrowers, analyzing financial situations, negotiating practical solutions, and maximizing the value of every loan relationship.

About the RoleYou will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans ranging from approximately $1,000 to $1 million
. Working with performing, delinquent, and distressed loans, you will develop strategies that improve asset performance while treating borrowers with professionalism and respect.
This is much more than a collections position. It is a relationship management role requiring financial analysis, negotiation, creativity, and disciplined execution. Every interaction presents an opportunity to educate borrowers, restructure obligations, recover collateral, or improve loan performance.
You will work closely with SRC's Credit Committee, management team, legal counsel, and outside service providers while contributing to the continued growth of the company.
What You'll Do- Manage a portfolio of commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans.
- Build productive relationships with borrowers while protecting the company's investment.
- Analyze borrower financial condition and repayment capacity.
- Negotiate loan modifications, payment plans, restructures, extensions, and other workout solutions.
- Conduct disciplined collection activities using sound judgment and professionalism.
- Perform borrower due diligence and background investigations.
- Utilize skip tracing techniques and investigative resources.
- Coordinate repossessions, collateral recovery, foreclosure activities, and liquidation strategies.
- Assist with judgment enforcement, garnishments, liens, and post-judgment collection efforts.
- Work with attorneys, repossession companies, investigators, appraisers, and auction companies.
- Prepare written loan analyses and recommendations for SRC's Credit Committee.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the loan servicing platform.
- Collaborate with coworkers to improve servicing practices and maximize portfolio performance.

Qualifications- Experience in commercial banking, consumer lending, agricultural lending, loan servicing, collections, credit administration, special assets, or loan workouts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
