Position: VP Commercial Loan Officer Opening!

We are partnering with a highly respected, family-owned community bank in the Greater Omaha area who is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join its lending team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a financially strong institution where relationships, community involvement, and long-term employee success are at the center of the culture. The bank has been family-owned for multiple generations, with leadership actively involved in the day-to-day operation and deeply committed to the communities they serve.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio while developing meaningful relationships with local businesses. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a true community banking environment where decisions are made locally and lenders have the ability to make a real impact.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage commercial lending relationships with local businesses.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and credit risk.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close commercial loan transactions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and maintain strong credit quality.
  • Cross-sell additional banking products and services.
  • Represent the bank at community and business events.
Qualifications
  • Commercial lending experience within a community or regional bank.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Experience underwriting commercial real estate and C&I loans.
  • Sound credit analysis and loan structuring abilities.
  • Desire to become an active member of the local community.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Multi-generational, family-owned community bank with local decision-making.
  • Strong executive leadership committed to employee success.
  • Excellent reputation and deep community roots.
  • Outstanding benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance, retirement contributions, company vehicle, and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career with an organization that values relationships over production quotas.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
