A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate in Omaha, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of tax credit experience, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidatesin St.Louisare strongly preferred, and anactive bar license in the corresponding state is required.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters
- Collaborate with teams on real estate finance projects
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations
- Minimum of four years of tax credit experience
- Experience with New Markets Tax Credits preferred
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
