Shift: 10 hour days
Perform quality CT exams, able to perform all procedures offered by department and copetent and willing to learn new. Perform actual scan times that are favorable with benchmark and team standard. Effective interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with patient, physician, patient s family, students, and other healthcare personnel. Perform QA. Help to ensure department is stocked accordingly and in compliance with standards.
Procedures:
Neuro, Body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures to include biopsies, ablations, drain removals, etc; 3D reformat ts, colonography, enterography, urograms; trauma scans; dual energy understanding
Equipment Utilized: GE equipment; 8 CT scanners, 4-256 slice, 3-64 slice, 1-16 slice; EPIC EMR, mckesson PACS;
Bar Code Medication administration
Required Skills/ Minimum Years
Experience:
Proficient with computers/computer systems to include basic navigation and use of email applications. Ability to communicate effectively and multi-task. Ability to deal with difficult or challenging customer interactions and escalate to management as appropriated. Level 1 trauma center experience preferred. Hospital experience preferred
Specific Licensures and Certification:
Current ARRT certification in computed tomography and radiolography. State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required. Computed tomography certification and Basic Life support certifications
