Nuclear Medicine Technologist

City/State: Omaha, Nebraska

Shift: 8H Days 7:00-3:30pm M-F, Call will be 1 day/week and every 5th weekend

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs imaging procedures using radiation detection and imaging equipment to produce high quality diagnostic images. This role requires flexibility and adherence to specific regulations and protocols to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens
  
  E.CAMs for diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and hospital policies, including fingernail and artificial nail regulations.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate.
• Driver's license required at submittal to confirm location compliance.
• DOT Certification preferred; required within 90 days if contract is extended.
