CoreResponsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments.
- Manage and ventilate patients with diverse respiratory needs.
- Optimize weaning protocols and manage weaning‑ready patients.
- Implement airway clearance techniques, secretion management, and chest physiotherapy.
- Administer aerosolized therapies, medications, and oxygen therapy.
- Interpret ABGs, monitor trends, and adjust plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Educate patients and families on pulmonary care, prevention strategies, and discharge planning.
- Document care in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
You’ll have opportunities to expand expertise in ICU‑based respiratory care, pulmonary rehab integration, mechanical ventilation strategies, and rapid‑response collaboration.
