Job Summary And Responsibilities
CHI Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our innovative Critical Care/eICU team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to provide care both virtually through the electronic ICU (eICU) and in person at the bedside, engaging in a diverse patient population across multiple hospital locations in the Omaha/Metro area
. You will work in a collaborative, academic environment while enhancing your skills in advanced critical care management.
Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts/week, Rotating Days/Nights (approx. 60/40 split).
Two open positions /one is a nocturnist option
Bedside Rounding (Rover)- Daily ICU rounds with physicians, evaluating new consults, and intervening in acute patient care.
- Opportunity to perform advanced procedures (arterial lines, intubations, central lines at the bedside).
- Rotate bedside coverage at four hospital locations:
Immanuel/Lakeside/Mercy Council Bluffs/CUMC Bergan - Average IP volume 10-15 pts in morning; 2-3 pts in afternoon
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, manage treatment plans, and document care in alignment with hospital protocol.
- Collaborate with fellows and faculty in an academic center, participating in case discussions, teaching and continuous professional development.
- Provide supplemental support with remote monitoring of critically ill patients across seven hospitals in the Nebraska/Iowa region.
- Utilize advanced technology to assess patient data, respond to alarms, and facilitate timely interventions for rapid response to clinical changes.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible
- A valid and unrest riced Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Prior experience in critical care is highly desirable

Pay Range$127,000 - $148,00 /Year
