Stationed in the Omaha/Lincoln, NE territory, the Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist provides technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers, including electrophysiology (EP) physicians, interventional cardiologists (IC), and laboratory staff. The role focuses on advanced cardiac ablation and interventional procedures using Acu Nav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters, and related electrophysiology systems (e.g., CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, Stockert RF generator). The specialist collaborates with business partners to grow utilization and support clinical success.
Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on the use of Acu Nav™ and SOUNDSTAR™ catheters.
- Assist with electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (CARTO® System, CARTOSOUND™, CARTOMERGE™, Stockert RF generator) during case procedures, delivering in‑service training and technical guidance.
- Educate customers on all electrophysiology products to optimize usage and share best practices.
- Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within accounts.
- Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitate contact with key decision makers.
- Plan and schedule case support to maximize customer case support capability.
- Maintain open communication with internal partners (TMs, EP CAS, ULS CAS, marketing, FSE, RBD) and external partners to align activities.
- Develop and share best practices with field sales and service colleagues.
- Stay current on product instructions for use, best practices, troubleshooting, and relevant clinical literature.
- Prioritize and respond to requests in high‑stress situations, maintaining composure and problem‑solving focus.
- Engage in diagnostic dialogue with internal and external partners and formulate solutions.
- Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested.
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant professional work/military experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in adult or pediatric echocardiography.
- Advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology, advancements, and the business landscape.
- Clinical knowledge of healthcare industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% locally, regionally, and nationally, including overnight stays and short‑notice travel.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, attend live patient cases, and wear protective gear; willingness to work variable hours.
- Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Experience in electrophysiology/cath lab or EP/cardiovascular device industry.
- Industry certifications such as CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
- Experience with complex technical systems in critical patient‑care settings.
- Effective and timely communication, self‑starter, problem‑solver, receptive to feedback, data‑driven, and a hunger for learning new skills.
