This position involves direct interaction with patients, ensuring timely scheduling for medical procedures, tests, and physician appointments. You will be instrumental in managing the patient journey, from initial contact to confirming coverage, contributing to an efficient and patient-centric experience.

Every day you will take ownership of incoming patient inquiries, meticulously scheduling appointments and navigating complex medical calendars. Your responsibilities will extend to conducting essential patient pre-certification, guaranteeing insurance coverage for scheduled services. You'll actively communicate vital information regarding appointments and preparation instructions to patients, and accurately collect insurance data and personal details. Furthermore, you may be involved in collecting co-pays and co-insurance, directly impacting our operational efficiency and patient financial experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating your familiarity with medical scheduling and patient engagement. A strong understanding of the importance of precise data entry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient satisfaction are paramount. You must be at least 16 years of age and possess the ability to manage a varied workload while adhering to all policies and standards, ensuring top-tier service delivery in a fast-paced clinic environment.
