- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds in various healthcare settings, including clinics and hospitals.
- Ensure clinically diagnostic, high-quality images using portable sonographic equipment.
- Accurately verify patient identity with two identifiers before procedures.
- Communicate with facility staff and radiologists to ensure proper exam documentation and adherence to protocols.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle, ensuring operational readiness at all times.
- Follow infection control policies and safety procedures diligently.
- Support training of new staff as needed, and contribute to a positive, professional environment.
- Valid sonographer certification (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Prior experience in diagnostic ultrasound preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer and smartphone skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform ultrasound procedures.
This role involves providing mobile ultrasound services across various healthcare facilities in Omaha, NE. The sonographer will operate company-provided vehicles, traveling between sites such as nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing centers. Equipment and licensure support are provided, with a focus on patient care quality and professional growth.
