Senior Patient Billing Representative

Infirmary Health -  - Responsibilities:
Serves as a resource person for Business Office staff and ensures understanding of departmental functions.;
Maintains awareness of payer-specific regulatory issues, Insurance updates, and policy/procedure changes to ensure quality and consistency.;
Assists in training new employees and provides feedback on policies and procedures.;
Handles referrals, 2nd requests, and escalated patient calls from within the Health System and outside departments.;
Tests system applications and supports daily/weekly duties as directed by Management.
