Job Description:Registered Nurses for the PCU Oncology unit will care for adult Oncology and Trauma PCU patients in a Level 1 Trauma setting, focusing on hourly rounding and bedside shift reports to enhance patient experience.
Responsibilities:- Care for patients utilizing high flow respiratory equipment, titrate Insulin, and Cardizem drips.
- Administer common medications including Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix.
- Floating to Med/Surg and PCU units while maintaining the same level of care.
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU or Oncology preferred, with the acceptance of first-time travelers.
- Compliance with fingernail policy and a driver's license required at submittal for distance verification.
