Bilingual Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team in Omaha, Nebraska. The therapist will provide compassionate, trauma-informed mental health services to individuals and families, including behavioral health assessments, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and referrals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mission-driven mental health professional who enjoys collaborating with medical providers, case managers, and community partners to support underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Support clients experiencing mental health, substance use, family, and other psychosocial challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention and determine appropriate levels of care when needed.
  • Coordinate referrals to community mental health providers and support services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability is required.
  • Current Nebraska licensure or appropriate credentialing as LMHP, LIMHP, or PLMHP.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
  • Experience providing services to both adults and children is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
