Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually

Are you looking for a clinical dietitian role where you can do more than manage a list of patients?

This opportunity allows you to become an important part of each individual’s rehabilitation journey. You will work with people recovering from complex neurological and physical injuries, helping them improve their health, independence, and quality of life through personalized nutrition care.

As the organization’s primary dietitian, you will have the autonomy to manage nutrition services, make informed clinical decisions, and develop meaningful relationships with patients. You will also collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals who share a commitment to exceptional, patient-centered care.

Approximately two years of clinical experience is preferred, but newer dietitians with strong clinical training, maturity, and a genuine passion for helping others are encouraged to apply.

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy based on each patient’s diagnosis, recovery goals, and nutritional needs.
• Monitor weight trends, laboratory values, nutritional status, and patient progress.
• Adjust nutrition interventions and care plans as patients’ needs evolve.
• Develop and oversee therapeutic diets and cycle menus.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support long‑term health and successful transitions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Help ensure nutrition services meet food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and improve nutrition programs and processes.

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a dietitian in Nebraska.
• Approximately two years of clinical nutrition experience preferred.
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations and sound clinical judgment are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and confidently make recommendations.
• Collaborative approach and comfort working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
• Experience with electronic health records and standard computer applications.
