We are seeking a compassionate Neuropsychologist to join an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team serving adults recovering from acquired brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other complex neurological conditions.
This is more than an assessment-focused position. You will build relationships with patients and families, provide ongoing clinical support, and work closely with rehabilitation professionals to help each person achieve greater independence and quality of life. You will join a collaborative team that values your clinical expertise and gives you the opportunity to play an active role in each patient’s rehabilitation journey.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
- Complete occasional outpatient neuropsychological assessments.
- Provide psychological consultation for individuals with acquired brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions.
- Offer supportive counseling, education, and therapeutic interventions to patients and their families.
- Help patients and caregivers better understand cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes related to neurological injury.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, psychologists, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop coordinated treatment plans.
- Communicate clinical findings and recommendations clearly to patients, families, and members of the care team.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Supervise and mentor psychology trainees, including predoctoral interns, when appropriate.
- Contribute to program development, quality-improvement initiatives, education, and research opportunities.
- Uphold all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Current Nebraska psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
- Experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations preferred.
- Experience working with neurological or rehabilitation populations is beneficial.

- Earn $98,000–$103,000 annually
