Alora Supports is looking to connect with a caring, reliable Direct Support Professional to support a individual in Bennington, NE. We build our support teams around each individual, and this opening has two shift opportunities available, covered by separate staff teams:
- Supported Family Living — approx. 30 hrs/week. Mom covers weekday evening hours, so this role covers the remaining daytime support.
- Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
You're welcome to apply for either shift or both, depending on your availability. We do not currently offer overnight shifts.
Read Before Applying- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- Must be compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping others succeed
- Provide one-on-one support in the home and out in the community
- Assist with daily living activities, personal goals, and skill development
- Support community participation, social engagement, and independence
- Build a positive, professional relationship with the individual and his family
No prior experience is required. Experience in any of the following is helpful:
- Direct Support Professional
- Caregiving
- Direct Care
- Home Health
- Personal Care
- Behavioral Health
- Human Services
- Developmental Disabilities Services
- Special Education
- Healthcare
Paid training and ongoing support are provided.
